the District Deputy is developing with the Grand Knights of his Dist. 27 Councils: - Management 101, i.e. Leadership, Planning, Organizing & Control
- Managing Quality, i.e. Structure, Process & Outcome
- Building
our Councils to be more effective in serving our Church, schools and communities
Other
items being addressed are: - Scholarships & Student Loans
- Fundraisers
- Conduct
1st degree within 30 days for new members
- Council Programs & Calendars
- Projects
- Community, Church, Youth, Family & Council
- Recruitment Committees for
the Fall Blitz
- Council Historian/Photographer in each Council
- Develop two major initiatives in each
Council:
- Biggest new program that you will do this year
- Biggest challenge your Council faces that you will plan to overcome
Membership Blitz Recommendations: - Hold well
planned "Open Houses" that are publicly advertised
- Target
potential new members to invite to the event
- Ask Pastor to personally
contact potential members
Other items: - Using "Township Days" as a recruitment opportunity
- Donations for
the Sisters of Charity Shelter in Norristown
- Promote Fr. Tomko Assembly website to keep members informed
